Payroll

Every payday, usually monthly

Paydays run on time, HMRC kept up to date.

Employees and directors put on payroll, paid through the bank, and reported to HMRC on or before each payday. Payslips go out to everyone, and year-end paperwork is prepared in good time rather than in the last week of May.

What's included

  • HMRC PAYE registration for new employers
  • Full-pay and faster-pay month calculations
  • RTI Full Payment Submission on or before payday
  • Payslips issued to employees and directors
  • P60s at the end of the tax year, P45s for leavers
  • Auto-enrolment pension assessments and filings

Good to know

  • HMRC must receive the payroll report on or before the first day of payment, so a cut-off date is agreed for each month.
  • Director salary and dividend splits depend on your other income and can be reviewed each year.

Common questions

How is payroll priced?
By the number of people paid each month, so the cost moves with the team instead of carrying charges for people who have left.
Can you handle a company that has never run payroll?
Yes. Registration with HMRC is completed first, then the first payday is scheduled around it so nothing is filed late.
